Vinwood Caterers has recently added an entire menu of Late Night Snack options to their already amazing Menu Line Up, and we are so thrilled to be able to offer them to our clients at Cruiseport Gloucester!

But don't let them feel too homesick! There are all kinds of Comfort Food options from the Mac & Cheese Martini Bar to the Ultimate Nacho Bar!

As a venue just North of Boston, we know our clients don't like to miss the big game! Have a Street Vendor Sausage Cart or Gourmet Beef Sliders with Hand Cut Fries give your guests a taste of Fenways finest without leaving the dance floor!

Let your sweet tooth finish off the night by offering your friends and family one last treat before they go home. Chocolate Chip Cookies and Ice Cold Milk Shooters, Passed Mini Ice Cream Cones, and the Ridiculous "Smore's" Station will have your guests walk out with a big smile!

Choosing Your Wedding Dessert!

For decades the traditional dessert of weddings have been a multi tiered wedding cake, but most recently we have seen a huge variety of desserts make their way to the table! Sometimes, what you decide to bring in for your final sweet course can say a lot about your personal style, your heritage, or even the theme of your big day! Take a look below and see what different options you may want to consider as your guest's final bite.

Cupcakes: When your guests go by the dessert table and see a cupcake stand, they will instantly smile and be reminded of their youth. Cupcakes are young and fresh, and very easy to distribute as well! Another perk to having cupcakes is that you are able to incorporate more flavors than when you have a traditional wedding cake. Now you and your fiancee can stop fighting over chocolate or vanilla and choose a variety that will impress all of your guests!

Pastries: Many different heritages have a specific cuisine based on the part of the world that they live in and the style of cooking that they are accustomed to. Why not celebrate where you and your fiancee have come from by hosting a Pastry station? From Greek Baklava, to Italian Biscotti and Cannolis, your guests, friends and family will appreciate trying something different!

Candy Bar: Hosting a colorful and whimsical candy bar at your event shows your playful and sweet side! By using candy that you and your fiancee both love, your guests will enjoy their dessert in many ways! Include boxes or totes so your friends can take home these treats as a favor too!

Sundae Bar: Who doesn't love a delicious ice cream sundae on a beautiful Summer day!? Our Vinwood team makes an amazing Ice Cream Sundae Bar as a part of their Enhanced Dessert Options, and leaves your guests with the ultimate unique treat!

Coffee Station: Depending on the crowd coming to your event, you may have a lot of coffee drinkers that would love to see something extra special at the end of the night! Our Vinwood team does an excellent International Coffee Station that combines freshly brewed coffee with a variety of liqueurs from Kahlua to Chambord! If your looking for something even more fancy, there are options from other local vendors like Espresso Dave, who brings his classic Espresso cart into your event and offers a variety of frozen drinks! This set up will give everyone the energy to stay up late and celebrate!

Choosing something outside the box is exciting for not only yourself, but your guests! After attending so many weddings in their life time, why not surprise everyone with an extra special dessert!

By utilizing some amazing accessories for your hair, you will be able to make an even more special transformation that will have your guests gasping when they see you turn the aisle.

In recent times, the Tiara has begun to receive a bad stigma, mostly due to when bad tiaras happen to good people, but if you refrain from going too Disney Princess, a Tiara can actually look classic and elegant. The key behind the perfect selection is to make sure you don't go too large. A modern Tiara can look more like a crystaled head band, then the traditional crown. Try a variety of them on and see which one suits your hair style best.

A Less Traditional Bridal Bouquet

stylehandler.blogspot.com
When the Bride begins her descend down the aisle to her patiently waiting Groom, the guests turn and look to her in awe. Her smile, the white dress, and the splash of color from her Bridal Bouquet, she looks perfect.

But maybe flowers were never really your thing... the whole idea of carrying a portable garden in your hands wasn't what you pictured. You want to carry something unique and different, just like you! Check out how some of these Brides took a less conventional approach for her own bouquet, by adding brooches to replace real flowers!

The brooch bouquet below mixes shades of gold and white, with various shapes and sizes creating an intricate design. The different stones and crystals make this bouquet more of a work of art than an accessory!

This unique design is primarily white, and even has the addition of white feathers for some extra attention! Despite matching the wedding dress, this bouquet will surely stand out.

With the rich plum color, a variety of stones, and vastly different shapes, this bouquet is exciting and eye catching!

Brooch bouquets don't have to be a total mix of design and style. This one reflects careful selection of matching pieces and perfect placement that allows it to be unique but remain refined.

So are you convinced yet? Maybe it's time to try something new and allow your artistic style to shine through! For your wedding, think about replacing a traditional bridal bouquet with one made of brooches!
