Choosing Your Wedding Dessert!

For decades the traditional dessert of weddings have been a multi tiered wedding cake, but most recently we have seen a huge variety of desserts make their way to the table! Sometimes, what you decide to bring in for your final sweet course can say a lot about your personal style, your heritage, or even the theme of your big day! Take a look below and see what different options you may want to consider as your guest's final bite.

Cupcakes: When your guests go by the dessert table and see a cupcake stand, they will instantly smile and be reminded of their youth. Cupcakes are young and fresh, and very easy to distribute as well! Another perk to having cupcakes is that you are able to incorporate more flavors than when you have a traditional wedding cake. Now you and your fiancee can stop fighting over chocolate or vanilla and choose a variety that will impress all of your guests!

Pastries: Many different heritages have a specific cuisine based on the part of the world that they live in and the style of cooking that they are accustomed to. Why not celebrate where you and your fiancee have come from by hosting a Pastry station? From Greek Baklava, to Italian Biscotti and Cannolis, your guests, friends and family will appreciate trying something different!

Sundae Bar: Who doesn't love a delicious ice cream sundae on a beautiful Summer day!? Our Vinwood team makes an amazing Ice Cream Sundae Bar as a part of their Enhanced Dessert Options, and leaves your guests with the ultimate unique treat!

Coffee Station: Depending on the crowd coming to your event, you may have a lot of coffee drinkers that would love to see something extra special at the end of the night! Our Vinwood team does an excellent International Coffee Station that combines freshly brewed coffee with a variety of liqueurs from Kahlua to Chambord! If your looking for something even more fancy, there are options from other local vendors like Espresso Dave, who brings his classic Espresso cart into your event and offers a variety of frozen drinks! This set up will give everyone the energy to stay up late and celebrate!

A Winter Wedding

Theres something special about the Winter season. While it hasn't always been traditional timing for a Wedding, the season brings us a beautiful range of design and themes. Some clients like to incorporate the white and sparkle of the snow and ice into their event, while others prefer to get into the holiday spirit!

From outerwear to shoes, we have seen Brides go all out for their Winter Weddings, and you can tell by the photos that our girls embrace this time of year!

Our venue gets decked out with special wintery touches, icy blue and purple lighting, cold weather growing flowers and plants, lots of candle light, sparkle, and something special to keep guests warm!

One of these events is the perfect way to shake those Winter Blues and get excited for the next big snow storm! Remember the magical softness to these Weddings and you will appreciate the natural beauty around you.
